Team building outdoors
WildFit Surrey team building goals…
WildFit Surrey team building goals:
To increase the participants sense of personal confidence
To increase mutual support within a group
To develop an increased level of agility and physical coordination
To develop an increased joy in one’s physical self and in being with others
To develop an increased familiarity and identification with the natural world
To increase the participants sense of personal confidence
To view themselves as increasing capable and confident. By attempting a graduated series of activities, which involve physical or emotional risk, and succeeding (or sometimes failing) in a supportive group atmosphere, participants may begin to develop true self-esteem.
To increase mutual support within a group
All activities are based on the assumption that anyone who conscientiously tries, is to be respected. Success and failure are less important than making an effort. In many cases, the success or failure of group depends on the efforts of the members. A cooperative, supportive atmosphere tends to encourage participation.
To develop an increased level of agility and physical coordination
Many exercises use balance and smoothly flowing movement from the warm up games to the obstacles. The obstacles are designed to encourage natural movements which reduce repetitive strain injuries and increase all areas of fitness including strength, power, flexibility, balance, endurance, coordination.
To develop an increased joy ind one’s physical self and in being with others
The most important element of team building at WildFit Surrey is fun. The instructors are not solely engaged in building confidence, social cohesion and agility they are also there to make the team building fun. Participants may be anxious or even fearful but will actually experience joy and laughter. The activities are designed for participants to recognise that they are physical beings and that using one’s body can be a joyous, satisfying, exhilarating experience.
To develop an increased familiarity and identification with the natural world
Increasingly people have little experience of sun, rain, dirt, snow, cold. WildFit Surrey is outdoors offering team building all year. Participants become increasingly comfortable with crawling in the dirt, with the smell of grass, with feel of rain, of wind, of cold, of sunlight – in all their various moods. The weather always add to the unpredictability of the adventure.
